Best Way to install Hub on supercharger?

Best Way to install Hub on supercharger?

I need to know wahts the best way to install the hub onto the snout of the supercharger without buying the tool from CA or someone ... i'm affraid that a pulley installer like a power steering type might break offin the threads .....

i really think the cost of getting a pully puller / installer from a vendor is nothing in comparison to ruining the snout of the charger when you are beating it with a hammer trying to change the hub...just get the puller

Those powersteering pulley tools work great if you know how to use them, i've done probably 5 pulley installs using them, works every time, never had a problem.

i purchased Nates tool I am 100% satisfied. The Snap On power steering tool is absolutely awesome that ItalianJoe uses, but if you do use it , an electric impact helps ...its not an easy task, so in the end, I suggest you go to a qualified tech with the tools.

I was going to throw the charger in the freezer and the put the hub in the toaster oven at about 300 degrees and then press it on with a power stering installer. But i will have to get on from snap on today because the threads in the snout are m8x1.25.... so i willl have to see what he has for me.

I don't think the heating/cooling will make that much of a difference, but it can't hurt.
