Black smoke when reving?

I just installed an injen intake yesterday, and someone noticed today that when I rev it a bit a small amount of black smoke comes out.

No idea if its always done this anyways, the inside of the exhaust is black from how rich it runs, but is the black normal? Do you guys get that?

Mine blows black too when I get on the gas. It's just from running rich. You don't really have to start worrying until the smoke turns blue, lol

I have yet to see any smoke from my rear end or any skid marks on the bumper.

I have black smoke since new, it's due to a rich air/fuel blend this is normal, but i hate to have to wash my car so often to keep my polished exhaust tip look

No worries there it's your ECU adjusting the A/F ratio on it's own for the new intake. Might be a emission part trying to keep up after you let off too.

If I give her a good rev a black cloud is what you will see. I just attribute it to these cars being built like absolute garbage. Sorry I am very unhappy I have been without my car since Sunday.
