that's what I figured. Especially since you aren't porting or really doing any head work.

Allright guys new update its february 11th and the engine shop is almost done with my block and my head. They bored my head out to .10over and they ordered me diamond forged pistons. I am calling them today to also order me a Cometic head gasket. So the enigine should be in my hands very soon for more picture updates. Also my car since i am waiting so long to get the engine back is going to the body shop to get the BC2 body kit on so i will post pictures of that when it is done to

Well its February 14th and i called the engine shop they said diamond is making my pistons right now they went ahead and ordered me the cometic head gasket so within the next week or so when the piston comes in they can make sure they bored it far enough and i should be on my way to rebuild.

The Only Other UPDATE is i might do cams or some kind of clutch anyone have any idea what kind of cams or clutch open to all kinds of opinions right now.

Should hold anything you throw at it. And yes, bolts to stock flywheel.

How much the build costing you? Mine should be flat about 1k.

Stay away from cams IMO.

so far im gettin close to 2000 with the engine being fully built well just forged oversized pistons and a cometic head gasket but my head needed new seals and the machine shop labor wasnt cheap. the head with seals was 373 and the block is around 300 and the pistons and rings where 700 and cometic head gasket was 100 and now im debating on if i should get a aftermarket clutch i want one real bad. but i dont want to spend out tje ass u know.

and im not going to get cams now i daily drive the car well did lol hahah.

dan u should also ound up some people and come down for the oc meet man i made up in june

I might have a few people to ride out with. Could use the miles for break in period too. Shoot me a PM with the details and I'll check it out.

Allright guys was down at the engine shop they said diamond is still making my pistons they decided to bore it out to 15 over. which was nice no extra cost. the head job is done new seals and cleaned. the block will be done as soon as the pistons come in. but they said the pistons wont be made for another week or two so i am paciently waiting and i ordered the exedy oem replacement clutch. also oredered arp head studs

Whoa. I'd get the block resleeved if I were you. Cylinder sleeve thickness has been a concern for a few of us lately

Yes. .10 over is questionable. .15 is pushing it imo

my buddy that moved from Maryland that you met at TTP when I met you said he'd tag along for the ride.

On another note, I just have to order my rod bearings and rod bolts and i'll be good to go. Pistons came in today, they look to pretty to put in the motor

Mold it! It'll look much better once finished.

Mine won't be done for a little bit. Probably going to wait until it starts hitting mid 50's every day consistently. The one thing that absolutely kills me is cold. I can't stand it.
