Blew a plug??

So my car is a 06 ss/sc stock for the most part and I was going down the highway Saturday and was gong about 50 and put it in third to pass a car. Then i heard a pop so I pulled over shut it off popped the hood and everything appeared normal there was no oil pouring out etc.. so i started it up and it has one hell of a miss and sound like theres no plug in one of the cylinders luckily I still have my power train warranty 57k miles lol just barely. But is this a common problem and does it sound like a blown out plug to you guys. I had it towed to the dealership but I havent heard anything yet so I was just looking for some other opinions thanks..

I had two loose spark plugs @ 40K. Numbers 2 & 3 were loose.

I did the exact same thing yesterday minus the pop and the missing. For me it worked out in me passing the guy.

So ya defenalty take it in if you have warranty, just make sure you have no mods. If its just a plug though, it might not be a bad idea to just change your set. Spending a few bucks on plugs might save a pain in the ass/several hours wait at the dealership.

yep it was a blown plug the dealer is covering it but its taking them forever to get a replacement coil pack. They have had my car since monday. But its not costing me anything. I'm not sure how a feel about a heli-coil but I suppose thats the only option.
