Blue Smoke

So i put my dual pass on this last week. Finally go to drive my car this morning and when i get above 3k the car just starts to bellow this blueish white smoke. Correct me if I'm wrong but that basically means pig rich. I didnt have time to look at it, (just parked the car cause i had to get to class so took my other car). I'm thinking that it might be the injectors harness. Reason being is that I noticed the third cylinder wire being fraid. The only reason I'm suspecting that is because at idle it runs very smooth. A/f ratio is good, absolutely no knock. I also did a compression test this morning and got between 160-170 on all four cylinders. I'm going to check out the wire tonight after school. Let me know if you have a bosch style injector harness (lucas 42s or seimens 60s harness). Anyone else have other suggestions?

I'm not an expert but I think oil in your exhaust (blueish smoke) means either a blown piston ring, or maybe a blown head gasket? Not positive on the head gasket but I think it would be possible. You said you ran a compression test so that probably means your rings are good. See if the oil looks brown or smells like gas (or 2 cycle gas, best way I can describe it). The smoke may not be related to the dual-pass, this happening right after you put the dual-pass on may just be a coincidence.

heres my thing bout it being an oil issue. wouldnt it have shown up in the compression test. i know a blown head gasket would because then it would have slowly started decreasing in pressure

just means your burning oil, could be a valve seal too.

you should do a leak down test, blue-ish is oil, white is coolant, black is fuel. i have had cars with good compression that needed head gaskets, do a leak down test and watch your oil level.

You could have just pulled oil from the crank case ventilation tube? Keep an eye on it but if the engine is running fine I would not worry about it. IF it continues check the engine for problems.

so did a leak down test. things are all good. so on monday after drill will be taking everything apart to make sure i put everything back together right which im pretty sure i did. checked all vacume hoses seemed good to go also all the wiring is good. changed whatever its called in the intercooler. two large luminas (think thats what there called) are on the outside and the little luminas are on the inside. doesnt make sense why i would get coolent in my system. once again it only does it above 3k. when idling it runs very smoothly must have done something wrong somewhere. any help would be appreciated

That is what I was going to suggest, the laminovas were leaking coolant and washing the cylinders causing the blueish/white smoke. When you changed the laminovas one of the seals may have become damaged or is possibly not seated properly. Remove and check asap. Good luck.

remember both ends of the laminovas need to seal properly, not just the enplate side, also, the washers and all need to be put on right as well as the seals.

yea i know. i sealed it and it ran great for like ten mintues got on it no smoke at all. then went inside and ate lunch. came back out and it started to smoke. so im assuming that its because i didnt let the sealent seal long enough. so tomorrow im going to take it off for the fifth time this last week (if anyone needs help doing this im a pro at it now lol) im going to replace all the washers and orings and seal both bottom and top. if that doesnt work ill just give up
