boost gauge install
I'm trying to install an autometer boost gauge. I tapped into the vaccum line coming off of the intake manifold and i get a reading but its only read -15 psi for vaccum, barely hitting 10psi at 5k in 3rd and is really slow to react. Anybody know how to fix this? If I rev while standing still, it barely moves. thanks for the help.

Before someone else corrects you, the gauge doesn't read in -psi, it reads in mmHg (millimeter of Mercury).
But, sorry, I dont know what could be causing improper or slow readings, a mechanical boost gauge should be faster and more accurate than our electronic one... maybe you tapped the wrong line. Pic?
