Boost gauge measured in BAR

Guys, I ordered a BAR measured boost gauge for my car, not a psi, it will still read accurately right? Stupid question, just making sure because if not I'm going to send it right back, i just like the BAR measurement better. Thanks!

the factory one is an electronic boost controller, from what I hear anyhow, and reads off of a signal from the bcm. I think if you wanted to go more accurate, you'd swap into a mechanical boost guage. Just my .02. Either way, your guage should work fine.

It will still read accurately. However reading the gauge sucks because your not used to it. Just ask my how I know, my stock boost gauge reads in bars. It's odd looking down at full boost and seeing 1.3 bars. Remember that 1 bar is roughly 15 psi.

yea lol it'll work fine the question is do you really want to remember bar->psi conversion
wouldn't bother me but i'm used to the bar conversions cause turbo stuff is all rated to that

Nate (ssyellow) is stopping by Friday to help me install my gauges, I told him he could have the stock gauge along with some money. But seein that he doesn't have a Balt right now he might not want it. I'll ask and PM you later!
