boost problems?

Has anyone not been seeing 12.5 psi? ive been driving the car for about a week now and have never once recall seeing the full boost. Should i take it to the dealer and ask them whats up? I checked the gauge at ignition and it sits right at 0.

On a nother note, Has anyone had bouncing needles on there main gauges after shut off? when i shut the car down sometimes the needles will bounce up and down a couple of cm for 2-5 mins?

You have to remember that you won't see 12.5 psi untill you get to the higher rpm range like 6,000 to 6,800 or so. Most people punch it at 3,000 or 4,000 rpm and expect 12psi.
As far as needles bouncing, I have no idea.

I have no problems getting 12psi. Are you sure you are at WOT and high RPMs?

I don't have bouncing needles sorry.

At about 4-5k rpm i hit about 10.8 Psi. I haven't testing near redline Psi, but I will soon and post. I am bone stock as performance goes, for now anyways hehe... My boost gauge needle is off by 5, so it shows 80 when its really 75, I'll go get that fixed lol.

As for needles bouncing, it happened to me, well I only saw it happen once. It's normal, don't worry about it. I posted something about that not too long ago, if I find the post, i'll give the link!

EDIT: Here's the link for when I posted that gauge "problem": https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/problems-service-maintenance-69/clutch-shifting-analogue-needles-gauges-22348/

yea 3rd gear you might see full boost cuz of the load. dont forget supercharger is all by pulley for boost so boost really cant get effected by the computer unless the car runs like a bag but you shouldnt have any problems yet you just need higher rpms and a harder gear...1st and 2nd just kinda get ripped through and are torque which wouldnt alow full boost...
