2008 SS motor is an LNF, not an LSJ.

That can't be right.

yeah, if its from a 2008 you put a LNF motor in it not a LSJ.

if your seen fuel smoke meaning black smoke then you must be running very rich and need a tune asap.

I have heard bad things about intense so you could use a custom tune but I dont think it is entirely the problem. You were running 12-16 psi (not sure what pulley you have) before now all of a sudden 5psi?

they must have flopped on your bypass actuator or something, perhaps laettner stomped it?

Bad bypass solenoid might be. When I put a smaller pulley without a tune and the bypass still hooked up. It would drop to about 5psi and fall on its face. I disconnected the bypass solenoid and never had the problem and had/have no ill effects.

Also you can put the lnf 08-10 aka GenII block in an lsj 05-07. You basically just have to put on the lsj head, intake and exhaust. The lnf has stronger sleeves and some other stuff that I cant remember.

Any CELs or DIC messages???? If you can, I'd have someone log it. Black smoke out the back = pig rich. Definitely agree it could be the solenoid. Have you pulled the plugs to see what they look like yet?

i agree it must be the solenoid because i put a manual controller in and run it about 10 psi and it runs good pulls hard but now it goes up to 10 psi and bleeds back down to 5 psi like i got a vacuum leak now. but to answer your question no cel,s or dic and the plugs show sign of richness

there is no reason to put a manual controller on it. it's all dictated by the pulley

yea i know this i put it in line in place of boost controller so not to over do it at w.o.t. if i just do the boost bypass it goes into limp mode

the reason the car is spitting fuel out the back is it thinks it lean so it keeps richening up sounds like you need to take it to the dealer or do a boost leak test and find your leak

You sure its raw fuel and not condensation build up because its cooler out?

Are you driving a little bit when you try your WOT run? Is it knocking?

There are limiters on the tune that could drop the PSI to try to save the motor. Just throwing things out.

As said before, Intense is garbage.

Get a different tune. I would say just about any other HP Tuners tune out there is going to be better, and would probably clear up the fuel issues.

Yea I'm having the same issue but mine strictly hits 3psi and just stays there when i punch it. It doesn't bleed down since it just hits the 3psi wall. I'm gonna check my BPV and for any leaks.
