i have a 2.85..and i remember that when ppl put the 2.9 on their car that it builds boost to 15 alot faster...but mine doesnt.. it goes to 13 instand then bulids to 17 or so...why is it like that?

if u were a 2.9... you would go to 11 or 12, then work your way up to 15/16.

It also depend what gear your in, and where u are on the rpm band.

 

^^ agreed i have a 3.1 and i'll spin to 13 quick and as i get about 2k before the redline she will climb to 15.

 

normal. you wont get full boost until redline. just the way our cars work.


also it would help if you had some cooling mods

 

glad i found thsi i just installed my 2.8 and it goes bam up to 15 but still havent seen it go up to like 18 like it should i beleive. well i havent had the chance to reallyn get on it yet plus my cooling mods arent installed yet so im taking it easy til then. but with a 2.8 it should be 18psi right?

 

psi is also dependent on exhaust mods, cooling mods, etc. not just pulley.

generally 17 or 17.5 psi with a 2.8"
