Well guys I did it today, $1,400 come & gone! I got GM stage 2 w/ 2.8" pulley, NGK colder spark plugs Pacesetter exhaust, Pacesetter downpipe & some stupid little chip off ebay (I'm going to see myself if these stupid things actually work. It'll probably add a few hp.
All I need now is Injen CAI & maybe headers. I'm feelin' fast & poor. BTW: About how much hp & tq do you guys think I'll get with the stuff I'm gonna put on cause I'm gonna go to Great Lakes Dragaway soon & race my friends 03 Mustang GT(Its Stock). You guys think I'll win?

 

you should've sent the $19.95 you spent on that "chip" from eBay right to me, it's a waste either way and will probably cause more harm than good. i would see if you can return it and get your money back.

 

you should be able to take him if he is stock or "lightly" modded

 

agreed^ shoulda saved the 20 bucks and bought a book about 4 cyl's.

anyway, Dyno your car stock, and afterwards on the same dyno, and let us know the difference with your setup. looks pretty good, might want to invest in some kind of scan gauge so you can monitor everything. I'm going same way, but i already have Cti header and downpipe, and waiting on stage 2 with 2.7 pulley.

 

the chip can **** your car up

i have seen it done before. A guy bought one of those 50K ESX STi's and bought performance mods and threw that little chip on it, it messed with his A/F ratio and fucked with his computer, making his car run like ****, and obviously decreased performance....

 

When I get it I'lll send it back then & save that money for a Injen CAI cause it came with one of those 30 day No hassle money back guarantees. I made sure I got 1. Thanx if it wasn't for you guys, I'd probably be stuck somewhere 3 days from now

 

You guys are lucky you don't have to worry about handling... Here in Tennessee I can take everyone in a straight line... But man all of these hills are killing me.
