Broke bypass valve

Somehow when i was passin an old woman i blew the top vacuum line nipple off of the boost bypass valve (the one comming from the s/c to the bbv) I have to go to work tommorow and thats a dealer part that im sure they will have to order. my question is can i drive it without that line hooked up, with my s/c sucking mad air, and still be safe on my engine?

You talking about the bypass silonode or the bypass actuator?

Order it through zzp...... not expensive and plug the vacuum line,up but dont drive it alot becuz all u r doing is running straight air all the time through the supercharger because its not bypassing it. Unsafe meaning.highh iat2s..

pluging the vaccum line is no different then the boost bypass and will not raise iat 2 and the one that zzp sels is for the m90. eaton told me that it woud not function properly on a a m62 due to the higher spring pressure inside of it

Be smart.. plugging the vacuum line Will not let the vacuum line suck in atmospheric. Air in causing a vacuum leak. Second with.the vacuum line.not.connected to the bypass it causes all the air to go through the s.c causeing hotter air. So in the outcome. HiGHEer IAT2Z
