what about preparing your car for turbo? Go ***** out and get all the cooling, rotated mounts, and maybe some other smallish power mods, and save the leftovers for Hahn lvl5?

I would suggest if you really want turbo then try and save up for the Hahn 5 kit as well. Thats what I plan on doing. Maybe get some of the supporting mods outta the way and a cooling mod to tide your self over while you save. Work on some of the smaller mods that wont ding the budget too much. You dont really want to cheap out on a turbo build because it may result to more headaches and other unexpected expenses in the long run.

what supporting mods would i need for the lvl 5 kit? Im not looking to go over 300hp. as much as i want the turbo i might just have to settle for the build up in my situation. 4g's is alot of money for a car i could get all that other junk and some and still be cheaper.

The super20g turbo and the intake mani they sell is like half the price for the kit.

well they are the most expensive parts is why. and it is 350whp i believe with a conservative t00n. get motor mounts, lighter wheels, stickier tires, short shifter, catback exhaust (dont do dp or header since they will be removed anyways with the turbo kit), coilovers (FTW)

I guess when I said supporting mods I meant things such as mounts or a tourqe dampener, maybe a Short shifter and springs ect.. Basic things that will aide in controlling and making the extra power more enjoyable to go turbo. 300 bhp and whp would be diff goals as well. It all depends if you feel you can save up an extra 1500-1600 bucs and if you can hold out. If you can I say hold out for the turbo

the hahn level 5 kit comes with everything you need.

you dont need cooling mods for your turbo setup.

The only cooling thing you need is a air to air intercooler, which the level 5 comes with anyway.

You can do some other things to keep your temps down, like meth.. but you dont need it.
