Wink BWoody VS Turbo Tech Mounts

Ok well I decided to hold off from buying a smaller pulley from Nate until i fix my wheel hop issues so i dont break nothing. Nate I still want a pulley from you but probaly gonna have to wait till the end of next month. Well i searched this morning for about 4 hours looking up what people had to say about both. Ive heard good from both companies so Im sure that they are both highly respectable and make good products. I was wondering which ones everybody think are better, BWoody's Engine mount and transmission mounts or Turbo Tech's Engine mount and transmission mount inserts. I also cant figure out why they call them solid mounts becasue solid mounts that I have seen for cars consisted of no bushings and strictly a block of metal with holes to bolt it to the frame and engine. Last, money is not an issues because the difference in price is not a huge difference, so i will pay a little extra or less depending on which performs better.

Well its all about the person man the engine motor mount works great but is also stylish get it painted the way you wanted and pick a color of bushing for it i have it works great. As far as the dampner i have herd its great and i have herd that it rusts and bends the factory motor mount but it does work great but like i said its all up to what you wanna do to it your car your money your way

You dont need the ingalls with the TTR Mount, plus it wont fit. We did not design the mount to need the ingalls, so having it fit was not a requirement.

Alright well thats good that I dont need the Torque Dampener with these. I can just use that money and put it to the traction bars. KillerBee yea I know what your saying about the looks but see I dont like my engine bay looking fancy. I like it looking stock as possible so that when your at the track, you can fool people by thinking its pretty much stock and throw more money down and then see their shocked faces from what your "stock car" is doing." LOL To me, reliability and performance of a product is more important then the looks.

I'm gonna have to go with BWoody on this one guys. I have no doubt that TTR's product is of a high quality... but I recently helped with the install of a full Bwoody set on a friend's IRL and I am very very impressed with them. They look great in any color and the bolt on the side engine mount is adjustable so you can tighten or loosen the mount a bit if you need to.

Im getting the turbo tech mounts..... I had them for my cavalier in the past and they were great. absolutely no problems with engine movement so having prior experience with turbo tech products I have to stay with them.... the b woody products seem good but to me they seem brittle since there so small and besides the fact that the bushings are bigger with the TTR stuff it makes it for a more reasonable performance part as far as vibrations go

Well its 10-3, with turbotech leading. thanks everyone for helping out and i was looking at the design of turbotech and i like how its a square bushing up top instead of round one. seems like the round one would move and turn after a while of wear and tear which i do alot. i should be contacting you in about 2 weeks, 3 at the most.

Just save some money and fill your mounts with polyurethane. Thats what I did and it works really good. No more wheel hop

i know people who have done the filling the mounts and they work good at first but after about 6 months to a year they start cracking and falling apart. also, my car gets driven daily and i cant afford 3 days of not having a car for the mounts to settle and dry. also i dont think you can do this on the top mount either. correct me if im wrong

My BWoody mounts work so well, no wheel hop at all, but they broke a pin connecting the shift to the gears box from all the vibrations. They suck to drive with in and gave me tons of other problems but they preform like a champ at the track

I used a 2 part polyurethane and its not like the 3m window weld or the construction adhesive that some people use. I filled just my 2 bottom mounts and the motor does not move and the wheel hop is gone. I filled them, let them sit in the sun on both sides for a couple hour each, reinstalled them, and started it up and right away noticed a difference. Let me know if you want to know what I used
