it diver4ts the air from the sc so you dont get boost while idling. kind of like a bov but not really

There are no "Blow off Valves" for our supercharger.

There are blow off valves for non roots style superchargers.

In most supercharger cases, a blow off valve would not benefit in any way.

all the bbv does is divert air from the sc so you dont boost at idle.... thats it.... nothing more. no you cant get a sound from your roots style blower.

roots style is the type of supercharger you have. the most common roots blower is the eaton.

There is a lot of info go do some surching and you will find all the info you need to know from some previous threads. I saw one a wile back that had a see through SLJ and showed the bypassvale.

I think the only was you can get that sound is if you go twin charged. Meaning if you put on a turbo that boosts after the SC is done boosting.

The boost bypass vavle is cast into the Eaton supercharger. You are going to swap it in and out, it's not a seperate part.

if you want the Distinct noise, get that rice box. the electronic one. Or trade you balt in for a neon or another car with a turbo.
