C5 Corvette

Buddy bought a stock C5 vette auto today and we raced 3 times. It was from a 40 to about 115 and I won by a car and a half each time. I just have the zzp stage 3 with canned tune...really want a nice exhaust soon and a dyno tune, but i was impressed.

Mid 13s for those vettes.. if everything was stock. So it is possible. But from a roll that thing should be a BEAST.

Take it to the track next time.

If this was a C4 Vette, it'd be plausable with the L83 or L98 engine and maybe at most the LT1, but the C5 isn't likely since all C5's were either the LS1 or LS6 engines.

400lbs isn't enough to negate the LS1 enough to lose to the SS/SC.

Yea as was already stated by the vast majority, I too find it hard to believe that a c5 lost to you, especially by car lengths. Either your buddies vette is broke, and he got ripped off, or you ecotech needs to be dynoed, and proven track vids need to be filmed. By the way, what is your definition of stage 3? By my standards that means that you are running a retarded pulley on a M62, or your tvs?

ZZP Stage 3 is a very small pulley on the M62.
