hey i was wondering how the stage kits are from ca and how are the tunes bc im thinking about getting the stage three . if any body has it tell me how it is and is it worth it.

 

Buy the parts and find someone who will custom tune you.

tune doesn't suck, and at least it's rich unlike another company I saw here blowing up motors... either way it's boxed tune, and these cars take to tunes differently. And I am meeting up with skymynx next weekend to dial it in a bit better.

 

ok i know what you mean they dont suck that kinda harsh. I will agree are cars need custom tunes because there is no way i should be putting down more than Sky im stock hes not expecially with all those mods.

 

the tune doesnt suck it will get you on your way. trust me though you want that tune. my car runs way to rich for me. so im having paul tune it so that i can finally get the true potential out of it. the ca stage kits are good but if you ask me your better off buying all the items by themself and not as a kit. you pay a lil more for the kit b/c you get a tune with it. i woud take the money you saved and go get it tuned locally. if your going to do the stage 3 i would recommend the heat exchanger although not a must. i ordered mine back in april but as we all know its on back order up the ying yang. pauls right though rich is better then lean and then a blown motor

 

tis true. The C/A tune is more like something to get you going for people that A: can't afford a dyno tune off the bat, or B: don't have access to hp tuners and C: don't have any monitoring devices (gauges) They are designed to keep you safe until the above are taken care of.
And for the NY area people, if you get the parts from them I do tuning on the side for the local guys, if you buy through C/A $125 for anyone else $150, but please have a wideband in your car if you are going below a stage III setup (just check out some of my vids for performance) just to give you an idea my car made 277 whp with a busted s/c (bearings were shot) and a failing MAF.

 

yeah paul tuned me and my car pulls like a beast. My kit is like a CA stage five but a bit different. Also im still on stock exhaust to boot. This car will break 300whp when I upgrade to the BCP stage X kit.
