I just talked to the guy at Crower Cams (http://www.crower.com/index.shtml) I went lookin for some internals, and some cams! Lemmie just get to the point. He said he isn't makin anything right now for the Balst cuz he dosn't see any 1 really blowing down his door for anything. Him and his team are really into the SRT-4 right now, but said if he saw there was a real good following for them, he'd "Go to town on em". Now....

1. I think every 1 who see's/reads this should call or sumin, and let this guys know the Balt should be there main concern right now.

2. He said he would start makin Cams for us but he'd want the cams for the SS S/C to play w/ in order to deveope Stage kits. He pretty much said he was only really interested in the 2.0, but i think if enough ppl get at him with 2.2 / 2.4 request's, he'll be up 4 it also. (This is me assuming the 2.0 and 2.4 cams are diff) So we'd need to some how to get him the cams for the 2.0 ASAP! Your trouble's will be rewarded!!!

3. If he saw there was a big enough following, or willingness to buy internals, he'd start up a hole valve train upgrade list!

4. There more where this came from. I looking into all the company's that could help progress the aftermarket right now for all the Cobalt's! I'll be back a lil later.

Any 1 with any idea on how to get this guy some 2.0 cams let me know. I'm about to get my SS, and can't exactly go buyin em right now, so any way besides buyin em would be greeeaaaattttt! ummmm yea i think thats about it. peace!

Crower helped GM start the drag racing ECOtec with the cavalier in 2002.... that had done ALOT, but GM decided in 04 to stop with them, and just produce all there own parts so they could sell them threw dealers! At this point, i'm still talking to other companies about making parts for our cars! Like a Cowl induction Hood and extractor Hood. ( rksport )

 

I am really disappointed with the choices in hoods for the SS, the Camaroesque hood is over done, cavy's etc, we need something uniq and original in CF!

SOMEBODY MAKE AN ORIGINAL CF hood for the Cobalt PLEASE! and in A+ quality!

 

someone make the CF Ram Air Hood like the 272 concept.

 

id like some 2.4 cams but with the vvt they may not wanna touch them
