I plan on camming my car this spring. Im sure I will need vlaves, springs, and Im gunna get some pistons also. But I was wondering what kind of gains I should expect from cams...

 

12-15whp i would assume...but i could be wrong ..

without tuning, not much. with some tuning 10-25hp. if you get valve springs and valves, and pistons, may aswell go with gmpp neutral balance shafts or a balance shaft delete kit. then some cooling mods, 60lb injectors and go as small a pulley as you want as long as its tuned right.

 

depending on the setup.. i wouldnt hesitate to say 20WHP

 

well im puttin on a 2.7- 2.9 pully (cant decide), tune, injectors, and maybe the CA heat exchanger this spring... I was thinking about adding cam and springs sence it would be at the shop... will it be worth is. also is there anything im forgetting that might be required to buy for this setup?

 

i'd say around 20. do NOT buy cams, and not tune.
