always replace torque to yield bolts, would you rather risk your valve train and spend 100's or spend 6bucks

Just figure that with torque-to-yield bolts.. every time they are tightened to the torque spec, they stretch. So will it hold properly? Possibly. Will it be as snug in those threads as the first time? No. Your gamble. lol.

You can reuse them, if YOU want to. I personally, along with 99% of the mechanical population would replace them. Just dont come back here 2 months from now saying how its a crappy car if/when the cam gears fall off.

the bolts stretch, that's why they say replace them. what happens when you put an already stretched bolt into something? it doesn't work the way it was designed.

you can save a few bucks on them, just to risk hundreds of $ from damage because of them not working properly.

yeah it always kills me when people bitch about pricing when they buy an upgraded type car.

if you're worried about a $16 bolt that you need, then sell the car and buy a used geo metro

*** hey i just realized something, did the OP use the same head bolts as well? hell those are alot more than the cam bolts. $2.95 says he did LOL ***
