damn, you got the stage 3's.... the turbo grind are close to the stage one grind, more in between stage 1 and 2

here are the specs on the comp cams

-Street (Stage 1) Applications power from 2600-6800rpm .423 intake and .419 exhaust valve lift, 252 intake and 256 exhaust duration advertized (210 intake and 212 exhaust @ .050" duration) Works best with computer modifications not required.

- Street & Strip (Stage 2) Applications power from 3000-7500rpm .440 intake and .436 exhaust valve lift, 258 intake and 262 exhaust duration advertized (216 intake and 218 exhaust @ .050" duration) Requires computer modifications

-Street & Strip high RPM (Stage 3) Applications power from 3500-8000rpm .456 intake and .453 exhaust lift, 264 intake and 268 exhaust duration advertized (222 intake and 224 exhaust @ .050" duration) Requires computer modification very strong power over 5000 RPM

-Turbo Applications power from 2200-7000rpm .423 intake and .419 exhaust valve lift, 248 intake and 244 exhaust duration advertized (204 intake and 200 exhaust @ .050" duration) Wide power range, good power.

-Blower Applications power from 2800-7000rpm .423 intake and .436 exhaust valve lift, 252 intake and 262 exhaust duration advertized (210 intake and 218 exhaust @ .050" duration)

GM stage 3 ECU is locked directly from GM so it can't be changed... HPtuners never found out how to lock it and idk if it'll ever be possible

it has the rev adjuster up to 8,000 rpms but i can't go that high unless i get supporting mods... and w/ supporting mods i'd wanna get cams

but GM said that the stage 3 is fully programable and is able to control a nitrous set up and that is what voids the warrenty when you install the stage 3

Well, I changed a couple of the "special" tables.....it stopped it from stalling now, had some idle surge still.....I may try and advance the base idle timing a little more and see how that goes.....and raise the idle speed a tad.

I found the best solution is to have as much idle adaptive timing as possible now and raise coast down spark. Also make sure the MAF calibration is spot on in the lowest few cells.

They "fit". You have to modifiy the last cam bearing surface and run them without a cam sensor.

Sounds nice. Seeing as I will not be able to hide my cams, I figure I will make them even more apparent. My goal is to have people say "whats wrong with your car?" when they hear it idle
