Werd, but I have a cracked manifold gasket and that is making it hard to tune my car, I cant see what A/F it is running w/ a def answer. I know it is running phat as hell b/c of all the soot on my rear clip but the wideband says like 11.6-12. So I know it is throwing it off. But I know you are maybe having a slight bit of the same problem but if you IDC's go down, you have some serious problems lol, how is 06Black doing with his? Is he going through the same problems? Maybe you should try asking him or DJT

true man. Well think I might be dropping it off soon to do the fuel system on it anyway, so hopefully that will help me get rid of one issue or at least one possible cause

Pardon my question since I'm lost, you still drilled the oil pan or it was not necessary?

welllll.... I think she's gonna make it folks.
Just did my morning teardown (after a hard night of drinking lol) and replaced a few gaskets, new wastegate, new dump gasket etc... did a comp test and all looks to be good. Actually got it to now hold an afr across 3rd gear, which is the first time it's ever done it on 3 consecutive pulls. running a little rich right now, but I"ll fine tune it on the dyno sunday. Thank god, this thing has been pissin me off so much lately. And to those going turbo, do not use knock off wastegates. I just put on a new tial 38mm and it's a big difference, turbo spools faster and it actually holds boost all the way to redline now @22.1psi.
More numbers coming Sunday with some new vids so stay tuned folks

seems like it's holding ok. Gonna put some miles on it tomorrow and some more datalogging tonight to try and fix one little issue. For some reason once the car goes into PE (I have it delayed to 3500 rpm) it instantly drops to a 10 flat afr then climbs back to 11.1 and holds. Need to lean her out to @11.6 or so, and it should be good to go.
Also thank god it's warm out today, was working in a tee shirt all morning lol. But the car actually has traction to do some pulls. Was smoking em though through 2nd gear was pretty funny the looks people were giving me as I came blasting past them on the highway while spinning the tires lol.

yeah I've been messing with that too...
also another wierd thing is dfco... With the car running the way it runs actually smooth and ok... it stays at a 13 something afr when I let off the gas. but if I get it to run with the dfco functioning, the car buck real bad under light load. ANyway, at least it's finally getting ironed out

still falls under the stock dfco area? say .10 g/cyl at 36 mph or higher?

i played with that on a past tune and it screwed things up. didn't help anything actually.

Im still a noob at tuning, but what about your MAF tuning? Is that maybe why it has a phat spot in the AFR? Check and see if you got a freq. out of wack at that certain RPM.

well things didn't go as planned last night. I was tuning for the dyno tomorrow, and the car decided to get all wierd on me again.
HEre's some screen shots of the runs.
2nd gear pull (notice the 143% idc, in 2nd gear)

3rd gear pull, now it's leaning out again, but still no KR. I'm losing my mind with this car, anyone have any pointers.

saturday afternoon bump for some opinions

i'm a noob at this stuff, but it looks like the maf went up , and then your idc shot up with it.
i have no idea why it would do that, the second log the maf is high, but the idc didn't go nearly as high?
am i reading this right?
