i bought the gmpp stage 3 and i have a canadian car and for the shift light because it is a canadian car they dont illuminate the light on the 100 octane mode . do you know how to illuminate my shift light i need to change my cluster for a usa model ?????? or change the bcm usa version or ???????????? many thanks

Yeah, I've never seen the shift light in an SS actually work as a shift indicator.
It has it's other uses though, lol.

 

its a canadian thing. iirc the canadian cars dont actually have a shift light in the cluster, so there is nothing to light when you put it in 100 octane mode.

im not sure if there is a way to have an indicator for 100 octane mode on the canadian cars. might be something simple like adding a light and wiring it into a computer, but i kind of doubt it. id assume the signal goes through data bus to the cluster.

 

ya i've never seen my shift light actually go off, there is an icon for it but i don't think there's a bulb for it.

 

i know you will not have your shift light illuminate it is just with the stage 3 gmpp pcm that you will be able to illuminate the light
