I am trying to guage interest in a custom tune using the HP software. If I can get enough ppl interested, one of the top tuners for the SVT Mustangs in Canda, will tune our cars. The cost is not finalized but might be between $200 and $300. This would be a dyno tune, and it is in the GTA area

Ask him if he can tune an engine without the car. My engine is going to Toronto to be built and if could be done on a stand so it's ready by the time it gets back I am in.

 

I will ask, it would be more difficult as the exhaust won't be there and I am sure that will make a difference. I doubt that you will get the best tune possible but it might give you a baseline to start with. It takes time to get the most out of a car. I have seen him spend a couple hours on a car and get over 40hp just through a good tune.

ya id feel more comfortble doin this with a bunch of people other than by myself, i woulndt wanna push the limits, just squeeze a safe amount of horsepower to compliment my existing mods, off topic, rob how many car lengths was it last night?

 

He is a good friend of mine, and if we can get enough people he will do it for that price. He is known as one of, if not the best tuners in canada for the SVT cobra mustangs. People will bring their cars to him from all over canada and the US. He is located in Milton and no it is not max performance. My plan is to have him use my car and get comfortable with our cars. From there he should be able to tune to whatever ppl have. Has anyone from the GTA area ordered the HP tuners software yet. If so pm me so we can talk in detail

quik question.. how do all you guys like the CAMS??

 

me and spooler are the only ones that I know of that have cams.
I love them I definitely feel that it pulls much harder after 3000rpm.
but I know there is alot more power to be unlocked. that's why I need injectores and a good tune to push back the revlimiter, and prevent the by-pass vavle from opening up

Yeah i was @ Tag Racecraft on friday night to hook up the wide band... my MAF translator can only be tuned so much....

Just wanna mention that TAG in Oakville can tune our cars.. they've been tuning mine with my intense stage 3 kit... they said with the hp tuner software, they could easily tune them..

When I asked tag about tuning they said something like 2-3 hrs for $250 and hr, I'd rather tune it myself slowly for nothing.
