Tell your guy that I'll buy the HP tuners and he can dyno tune it at no charge to me and he can keep the bin files for future customer tunes. It cost me $XXX dollars to buy it and it cost him just a few hours of dyno time.

 

yeah i did 256whp.. im sure they would go for that.. I was reading up on the hptuner kit, i really have no idea how much the thing costs (actual) or what you get.. if we have the software we could all go down and have them tune all our cars...

 

Well I was also speaking with Scott from Intense Racing in Ohio.. He will tune them for 300 US. they use hp tuners, GM SMS and another program aswell

Sure man anytime TAG can forget it at $250 per hour. I'm not too sure I trust them with my car as I don't know much about them and the dyno session I had was a little "funky".

 

ok but if we have the stage upgrades can we still utilize the hp tuner software?
what would be the effects if any on the GM flash?
im a newb at this and before i do anything i wanna know all the facts and thats why i wanna roll with you guys cuz i know squat about tuning an engine? ninja, i agree, something with tags dyno is messed up, if we can find a shop that has this software or we buy it and take it to someone who knows what they are doin im in but im not goin alone lol.

any gm flash will completely overwrite your tuned program.
that is why it's still best if you have your own HP Tuners, so you can compare the reflash to your tune, and make the necessary changes to your tune. or just don't get the gm flashes anymore.

 

HEY you guys. TAG race craft isnt some do heckler shop... there not going to charge 250 an hour.. They no exactly what they are doing... they owner has been in the business over 20 years, he has a rear wheel drive civic that has over 700 whp and does the 1/4 in under 7... I trsut them 100%, once they tune mine with the hp tuners theyll will know exactly what to do on everyone elses SS.. TRUST ME THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING

 

ok how does this affect the people with the gm stage flashes already installed, ex, i go to a shop with this software or i have it, i tell them, i know jack please tune my car, i have stage 2, they tune my car, everything is saved and installed, i start my car and everything from hp tuners is lost and i just blew a couple hundred bux lol its not like im gonna go to gm and say i dont want this flash anymore you know what im sayin boyz.

 

its just hard to trust anyone when something new like this comes out, i never knocked them i knocked there dyno, he told me there dyno acts more like a mustand dyno and i hear stories about lower numbers on his dyno then any other dynojet, ninja and quickfkr can account for wierd hp dyno runs on there machine, once again if they know what they are doin and can work around my stage 2 reflash i willconsider them cuz ive seen his rides and was impressed, i liked his truck, there are jsut a few concerns that should be cleared before we start messing with this, especailly us with the stage kits.
