Was leaving my girlfriends house, and it showed up 'power steering'

I turned it off, and back on, and then it worked, then went out again.

It locks up, and I cant turn. The only way to get it to turn is to keep turning it on and off, and that lasts about 20seconds.

Guess I have to call a wrecker.

What the hell is making it do this ??

EFF electric power steering. There is also A weird smell coming from the engine like something burning.

Seriously no one knows ?

it happens to my car haha hopefully its an easy fix

 

You can't turn it at all?.. I drove mine with the power steering out for at least a month.. Man up and turn the wheel!

I just had the power steering go out in my jeep a week ago too.

That turned out to be a pully though.
