Carstedts LSJ round 2
UPDATE, just a small one, been working slow, got the rings gapped, went with .018 top, and .015 second. should work out pretty good for him. he don't plan on doing a full 150 shot, maybe a 100 at the most if he does, so that is the reason that I didn't go with .020 on the top ring. well, on with a couple pictures

I used the pistons as a guide in the bores to set the rings in and square them up to measure them, it worked pretty good and made things go really quick.

than I nice good cleaning of the pistons and the block, and time to toss the pistons in their homes

One in

Two

Three

And all the pistons are now in their new homes, still need to torque the rods down yet, and run a bead of silicone around the girdle,

I know its out of order, but can't do too much, so I painted the water pump, and bolted it up.

dont know if it really matters at all, but I timed the lower chain up with the marks, and got that ready to go, and I say I don't think the timing matters, cause theis engine has zzp's netural balance shafts in it, so yeah.
But thats all for now, just taking it slow, mainly cause my friend is slacking on getting me an engine stand. but I should have it tomorrow, so I should have a real nice update come sunday night, maybe, gotta work tomorrow for 24 hours, so we will see how much rest I get.

Hey, 18 hours of work on it this weekend to assemble and get it bolted into the car by myself, had a little help for a couple hours yesterday to torque down the cams, flywheel, balencer and clutch and get the trans bolted, but the rest was all just me. lol
