Catback availability for 2005 Cobalt SS/SC - Magnaflow and Vibrant Performance
Hi everyone ! I e-mailed both company yesterday and I received these answers today ...
Answer from Vibrant Performance:
Hi, a full 3" cat-back in Stainless Steel will be available for the Cobalt SS Supercharged by November of this year. It's in development/testing now. There is a chance that we will have one of these cars in our booth at SEMA this year. Hopefully you can be patient and wait until then. Thanks for your support of our products in the past.

My personals comments is that i've already bought a Stainless Steel Catback from Vibrant Performance for a 2003 RSX Type S, and it was very nice. It had a removable silencer at the end, and the sound was awesome. Never been arrested without silencer. The cost was cheap even if the material (SS) and welds were lookin' very good. The increase was about 8 HP. For my SS/SC, I think i'll wait for the Vibrant, which I think will cost lower than the Magnaflow.

Good to hear! I'm glad some stuff is still coming, things seem to have gotten quiet all of a sudden.
K&N was supposed to be here by now (according to Modern Performance),... no sign of it.
TOG is still working on the header presumably, although no one's really heard from them in 3 weeks I dont think....
GM Performance parts? Next year is probably on the optimistic side...

You can rest assured that MP will stock any products for the Cobalt from both Magnaflow,and Vibrant ! We have a long relationship with Vibrant and we are proud to offer their products !
Sorry for the delay with K&N, they have had some setbacks, and we are a little dissapointed, however we know it will be well worth the wait for their intake!
