Question check engine/ running rich

Last night I was speeding around and I heard a funny pop from my exhaust this moring my check engine light came on, so I got a code reader and the code P0172 popped up saying my car is running rich. What would you guys do first? O2 sensor? MAF sensor? Or something else? something I'm not seeing?

if you have emissions checks, then do what you wish...

I took mine off... Exhaust gets a little raspy though.. This can be fixed with a resonator, which is like half the cost of a cat.
