Cleaning the LIM

Is it ok to remove all the senors from the intake, the laminova cores and o-rings/washers, and soak it in something like Purple Power to clean grease and oil off of it?

Yes. Be extra careful with the cores.

Put some oil on the core orings when you reinstall.

This,

i took my cores out te washers off and the orings off and soaked EVERYTHING in a combination of dawn dish soap and some heavier duty cleaner in a utility sink in my garage overnight. then washed everything off really well and let it dry for 2-3 days. the cores hold water inbetween the grooves like no other.

also like nhanson said. when you reinstall the washers, put a little bit of new motor oil on the rubber orings when u install it to help and make sure they "seat"

Yes regular motor oil.

If you wanted to be really special you could get some water proof grease.

I didnt oil the end plate gasket, just make sure it seats in the groove.
