Clicking maybe the stock cams?

Ok well my 06 cobalt ss/sc has been doing this for awhile now. Lets just say first gear you can let off the gas and hear the clicking it will even happen when i let off the gas in 2nd or 3rd from time to time. I think its my cams, but just wondering if anyone elses does this.

Are you sure it isn't your cv joints in your axles?

i had the same problem. take it to the dealer. they have an updated timing chain tensioner for the ss/sc. the old one can fail and cause valve train damage. if you havent voided your warranty its free. my car had around 2000 miles on it when it started.

There is a TSB on the Front suspension ticking like that when you accelerate and Decelerate.. Mine does the same thing. A lot of people think it is the axles... but I read somewhere about it having something to do with teh Control Arm Bushings... or something like that.

Is this a TSB or a Recall? Only certain years affected? When did this TSB/Recall come out?

I have a ticking noise coming from somewhere also. I can't figure it out. And when I turn it sounds like somethings rubbing. Is anyone else having this problem also?

Control Arm Bushings... buy aftermarket ones... and then try and tell me you still have the problem

If anything... go to your dealer... say, "I have a clicking noise coming from the front of the car, can I take a Tech for a ride?"

Take the Tech for a ride.
