A stage 2 clutch should be plenty for any gm staged upgrades. Hell i'm currently running a stage 5+ setup and I'm on an oem GM clutch. It was new when I bought the car so it has about 12k miles on it now... it's been drag raced and driven hard and has yet to slip on me.

Mine has held up for 23k and still going strong it all about how you treat it.

I think most burn there up when shifting from 1-2, cause they just shift and then give it WOT right away. an0m has a vid that explains it pretty good.

^ truth, it is all about how you treat it....but you gotta admit, gm could have slapped a better clutch in these things

all you have is a cold air, of course your clutch will hold up lewl.

i ran 2.6,60's full 3inch exhaust, intake, major tune, meth, and other **** at 290+whp on the stock clutch for a long time, minus some minor slipping it never budged.

when your racing and shifting from 1-2, if you just give it a spit second before you gas on it again it will help alot and it wont slip at all.
