Question Clutch Break-In

I ordered my Clutchmasters stage 4 clutch and probly gonna recieve it next week. I was just wondering if anyone with an aftermarket clutch could tell me how long the break-in period is going to be?

500 miles are what the instructions say.

Bout 500 miles or so of easy driving. IE, NO launching. After about 100 miles or so you can juice it a bit while the clutch is already engauged, but that's about it untill 500 or so miles. I would also not recommend heel toe double clutching untill it's broking in, or doing any hard downshifts.

I absolutely agree. Install it and go on a long weekend trip using the streets. That should take care of it.

Make sure your 500 miles is not a long road trip. 500 miles of city driving is preferable simply because the clutch will have to work more and be broken in better.
