cobalt puts down 222whp-193tq
hey guys.......i jus got my car dynoed at r&d dyno in gardens cali to get a baseline of where i am at cuz the stg2 is going in ,in about a week .....i went into it with an open mind hoping to aleast get 200whp out of the cobalt ss sc because i know when hp is listed as one number (#) lets jus use an example 205hp like our cars u can at least take that # down about 6-10hp or about 10%-20% due to drivetrain loss and what have you....so i back the cobalt in we get her strapped down and do the first run the car sound real strong all of the way up to the redline....i calmly walk over to the display screen which reads 236whp-200tq my jaw must have dropped i couldnt believe it..i was surprised the dyno tech. said that that he couldnt believe it to but also that that # was uncorrected not (not sure what that means ) so the # was corrected to 222.67whp-193.07 wheel tq thats still great ...i went in thinkin 200whp and came out with proof that my car puts down 222 to the wheels and 191lb/tq....i also got it on my digi cam so ill upload it to photobucket all three pulls and ill see if i can get my scanner to work so i can post up the dyno sheet....this car amazed me it only makes me more impatient to see what the stg2 on my car would put down......
