you guys seem to be forgettin, even he admitted that the ls LOST THE 1/4 mile! and we all know it will always be better in the corners, ill be impressed when somone mods a ls to the point where its faster around an autocross course than a scss.

Actually... before that even happens let me learn what a Cobalt LT coupe handles like. Truth be told that's a VERY bold claim you make. Yes, horsepower matters... but what matters more on an AutoX course is driver skill.

 

just because the proffesional drive for autoweek can do the course in under a 1:00 flat doesnt mean you or any other ss driver will be able to do it..... Comes down on those who is the better driver... the cornering is about the same on both i have driven both.....

I agree with you there. 1/4 times don't mean a whole lot to me, any idiot with money can make a car go fast in a straight line with enough mods, but add cornering and braking to the equation and it gets interesting. It'd also be interesting to see someone make it into a track car, although that would take a TON of money and upgrades.
