That could be but I'm sure they still would have snapped cuz I've had bad wheel hop in the past befor the new trans mounts. Im not sayin I'm the best or even good. I'm a machinist and I deal with custom drive shafts and axles for a living. But I'm alway open to listen and learn.

My chain tensioner is new, I hope it is just the lash adjusters. If I don't make 330whp with a TVS and a ported head with an LS4 TB... then the tuner must be junk. I know a guy that made 330whp with a 2.9 on a tvs and ls4 tb without a ported head.

its either your lash adjusters or lack of oil pressure letting them be noisey

It is near impossible to reach 300whp on an M62. Especially with pump gas, no matter what pulley size. I will get my valve cover off and hopefully that is all that is wrong.

A great tune and real cams, not some of that off the shelf garbage. Meth may be needed though. It should not require e85 to hit 300 wheel with the mp62.

What's all this noise about

as for the LS4...

The responsiveness of the LS4 can be tuned out a couple different ways. If on gas still, sub 3000 rpm just blend the gm stg2 maf and VE table, otherwise [sens.114]+[sens.116]/2 a.k.a. ltft+stft divided by 2 and multiply by percentage half or % until your trims reads 0/1...

4500 for the scaler works fantastic FYI

meth will be a necessity if e-85 or 100 octane isn't available. 91 octane just won't cut it

Cams, head work, bolt ons, and revs would sail a m62 well past 300whp. You wouldn't even need to try with the tune... could probably be attainable on 17-20* of spark by peak & 11.5 afr

there is nothing gay about weight reduction. the cheapest and most effective quarter mile time reducing mod you can ever do to your car and the only mod that benefits every single aspect of the cars performance and durability. Literally everything improves when your weight drops.
