cobalt takes time shutting off.

a couple nights ago i got a CEL on the balt. i ran the code and it came up as p2610 which is a ECM error. then the next day i start it up and the lights off. its been driving fine til today when i go to turn the car off. after i turn the key into the off position the car stays running for another 5-10 seconds before it shuts off. has anyone else had this problem? if so what is it?
thanks

My car did that to me once on a cold start . I started it and let go of the key and the pressure from the switch trew the key back to the off position. The car kept running for around 5 seconds or so .....It was like it was burning the unused fuel off or something.
