Code from GM kit

does anyone have the papers that came with there gm stage kit that has the code on it, i sold my gm stage 1 fuel injectors to a guy who needs that code from the paper thats one page one, i just happened to be missing the first couple of pages, and he took it up to gm to get it installed and i still think its stupid of gm to put them in while knowing they dont have to code but now his car is up at the dealership and they need the code, so can someone please help me out

i believe each kit has its own code... others will not work..not 100%

Each code is unique.

If that dealership is magic then sure they can make up their own numbers. Otherwise, he's SOL.

i could never understand why the code is unique, can someone explain that to me cause when i ordered it they sent me the injectors and the code came with it, but o well i dont need it and i cant talk the guy into taking it to a guy he knows that has hptuner, so an someone just pm me a copy of their code so i can send it to him

Each code is unique so GMPP makes sure you buy the kit and prevents some a-hole from buying it and all his friends just flashing their car with his number.

so your telling me u can only flash the code they give u once then it wont work anymore no matter where u take it?

No, the code is tied to the VIN of the original vehicle and it won't let you flash a different car with the same code.

The code is like an individual key coded to each VIN of the buyer! My old code wouldn't work for any other car!

from what i hear from a gm tech is that all u would need is that 8 digit code that comes with the fuel injectors, all it is is like an activation key and the chevy place calls it in and gives these people all the info on ur car and gets a file sent to their comp so they can program the car, the guy said that someone could post the activation code on here and people could use it over and over to take it to gm and get it tuned, so lets try this out and maybe somebody has the paper work that came with the kit with them and could send me the 8 digit code off the sheet, pleaseeee.....
