Codes from OTTP Rotated mounts?
??? How would mounts cause a misfire code and the VSS or w/e it's called code??? Mounts do nothing but stabalize the front end and reduce wheel hop. Those happen to do their job extremely well. Change your plugs, will get rid of the RM code...mine started that crap until I changed the plugs.
I will have my car back either tomorrow or friday with the mounts installed. I have NEVER had any cels with my tuning minus the p0420 cat code occasionally so if the mounts somehow cause a code I will let you guys know. If everything is done correctly there is no reason why there should be error codes. Mounts do not cause cel, they solve them from starting lol.
dude i had a bwoody race mount and poly inserts. **** was horrible. dash jumping up and down. everything rattling all the time. it was annoying as hell. turning on the AC was the worst
I have TTR poly mounts. dont have an upper engine mount yet but rode around with an ingalls for awhile. i mean vibs are not bad but noticable at idle with the blower or AC on. and which case i either just give it a tiny bit of gas. They do the job they were designed to do very well, and you can feel them working which is what I like. Iv had systems before and try listening to Lil Wayne at a stop light and talk about vibs. Those are bad. But i got used to the rumble my car has and i prefer it. i went in my buddys LNF and i didnt even know it was running. i was like holy **** this car is on? But then again he sat in mine and was like "I NEED THESE MOUNTS NOW"

i just got so tired of all the vibes, it felt so much better knowing that the OTT mounts were doing a better job than the poly's while maintaining a great level of comfort
seriously though...although you may have a point....dont have to be a dick head...
I understand that the mounts will not cause a random misfire code, thats like saying you need summer air in your tires or you will get a flat.lol. But what I was saying was that once I installed my stage 2 rotated mounts I had the code pop up within 5 minutes of driving the car. It definitely tightens things up but I just dont get it. Im going to loosen the mounts again and see if I can get it to settle some more. As far as the code goes I have no idea, I can definitely hear the engine missing at idle now whereas I couldnt before so who knows.....
no, it is entirely possible that the vibes are making a sensor come loose making the incorrect ammnt of fuel to air wich could cause a misfire, could also mess with the timing chain if your tensioner bolt was bad already. could be alot of things caused by this...dont underestimate what could be caused by really bad vibes...

If you are getting P0300, then you need to check your plugs asap. I always got that code for awhile and it was pissing me off. Then one day boom, checked the plugs and there was hardly any electrode left on them. Meth eats copper, who knew!
I've had my rotated mounts on for a month and a half. Best thing I did to my car. The vibes are not even noticeable over my exhaust. You know what really shakes the crap out of your car, wheel hop.
