Compression Ratio: 10.0:1

At this moment I have gm stage 2 and my friend told me
past fromCOMPRESSION RATIO: 8.0:1 to 10.00:1.
He said I gonna have near 280whp and lot more responce. Is that true?
What do you think of that?

wait...you're friend said that adding the stage2 from gm will give you a new compression ratio!?!? up from what it wasn't even at in the first place....and you came on here to find the answer...

I consider myself at least half way intelligent, yet I have no flippin' clue what you are trying to verify....But here's a stab at answering what I think you may be wondering...stock compression ratio is 9.5:1 on typically 15psi if you have stage2..The compression ratio will never change unless you replace the pistons..The 15 psi of boost pressure WILL raise cylinder compression, however the engine by itself only makes a 9.5:1 ratio.. Your friend may have tried to explain that if you raise compression to 10:1 that you would notice increased power or something like that which I wouldnt recommend doing to our cars, raising compression that is
