compression vs pulley?

compression vs pulley?

i am debating dropping down to a 2.5 pulley and porting the blower OR i was also thinking about doing a unported blower and a 2.7 pulley? any advice? i have meth and all the goodies.....along with a ported head

if you drop down to a 2.5 your redline is going to be reduced by alot because you will start overspinning the blower and it just becomes unefficient. however many have still done it and ran it with no problems that i have seen. its all in the tune but thats just telling u something u already know. sub'd for answer though. bumpp for this guy

over spining the blower dosent hurt a thing its the sustained rpm (holding it there) that can cause damage

You just contradicted yourself. If overs spinning it didn't do a thing you should be able to hold it at 8 grand all day long

no i dident think about it there is a difference in sustaind blower speed and peaking the speed
