Coolant Leaking

I saw the low coolant light the other day to find a puddle under the car after moving it. It seems to be leaking towards the front of the car (its dripping on the metal beam that's right behind the radiator fans). Any clue where it might be coming from? I have a CTI header, could it becoming from that area?

Check all the hoses and make sure none of them are cut.

It is more than likely leaking from a hose somewhere. Check where all the hoses plug in to the radiator and check all the hoses that goto the IC system.

Do you have an dual pass IC or changed IC plumbing? One of your clamps or hoses may have sprung a leak.

Car needs to be running and at temp.. then while under the hood rev the motor and look for a leak. It could be a small nick and only showing itself under pressure.

And a header will not cause a coolant leak unless you cut something while installing it.

Nothing that's not stock as far as cooling goes, and its not leaking from the SC coolant, its leaking from the engine coolant (I read the SC coolant doesn't have a low coolant sensor). If it was a bad water pump would it slowly leak over night while just sitting?

Oh yeah, I forgot you already said you had to add coolant because of the low coolant warning. Typically the water pump only leaks when the car is running, but the run off from the pump can still causing dripping after you turn it off. Do like ford said and get the car up to normal operating temp then start looking for the leak.

I would get a coolant pressurizer that replaces the radiator cap, pump it and see where it is squirting out of, think this tool is like $30 or even less at sears or something.

Not to jack your thread but I have a similar problem to yours. My problem with mine is that I can't seem to get my supercharger reservoir to keep full. I can fill it up with coolant and the next day the reservoir is empty.

OK i just ran the car around a bit and came back looking for leaks and I couldn't see anything. Is there a place where these cars would commonly leak? It really seems to leak the most overnight.

It would have to be a pretty small leak then. You are probably just going to have to clean everything and try and figure out where it is leaking from.
