1. Tuning will take a little bit longer.. but to some people that doesnt matter.

A big thing is the heat from the s/c. Why would you want to only half-cool the supercharger that is skyrocketing your iat2s? Having full blast just dramatically helps the temps stay down, instead of "partially" cooling it at certain stages in the boost.

Even though youll have the TVS... there would still be no point in only partially cooling the s/c.
We usually agree on a lot of things man but I am going to have to disagree with this one. There is a point to PARTIALLY cooling your s/c slash iat2's. Lets say its 105 outside in the summer heat out in cali or arizona or wherever and your driving around in the city, your iat2's are already in excess of 140. IF you have a progressive kit you can "tap" the gas pedal to 5lbs of boost and squirt a decent amount of meth to cool those iat2's down. If you have the boost for "partial spray" set low then when your city driving you will get random sprays of meth to keep the car cool. Then when you wanna race have the "full spray" set at whatever you want, say 10psi. Who here doesn't get 10psi immediately when they smash there throttle down anyways lol.

I agree that standard kits are just fine, and that tuning can take slightly longer with a progressive kit *not much in my opinion*, however I think people should understand that progressive kits can be useful for city driving. Thats just my 2 cents though =D.

And the tune will take care of the power being lost. Thats why you need a tune anyway..
I've got many dyno runs to show a large power drop when a full shot of meth is sprayed at lower airflow values, even when adjusting AFR ratios.
