Question Corsa Question

I read on the website that the Corsa exhaust requires no welding and is completely bolt on. Is this true? Should it be welded anyways. I have read that clamps or no good? What do you guys think?

welding isnt required , but will prevent leaks if done right , but welding also means you cant remove it very easy in the event that for some reason you need it off

ive got the band style clamps on mine and they seal up pretty well and allow the system to come apart easy

I thought that the corsa cat back bolts directly to the flange after the cat eliminating any clamps or welding?

The corsa cat back consists of 4 sections of tubes. The front one bolts to the flange behine the cat and the rest have the heavy duty T-clamps ( i think thats their name) I My brother has and after market exhaust and he has no problem with leaks and his is also the clamp kind. I think welding would make it more difficult in the future and the clamps would work fine.

Corsa's systems all ship with clamps made by Torca (do a google search) which are very robust and make it extremely easy to install and adjust your system.
