Nice exhaust and write up! That is the exhaust I was looking to get before I decided to go 3".

Its weird that people say the hahn in loud because I love mine. At cruise around 2k-2500 I honestly cant hear it at all, and just driving around normally shifting at 3k or so its quieter than any exhaust ive had except stock. Quieter than my pacesetter, my friends megan, and even more quiet than the stock resonator with a vibrant muffler. Im even catless and there is no rasp at all, although I have a 2.5 inch downpipe which may make it quieter. The only one besides stock that was more quiet was the stock res with a chambered muffler, but I blew that muffler to bits in a hurry...some of you may have seen the pics.

I thought this to .... I read several reviews on it, and it wasn't until I made my thread did I hear people call it a "loud" exhaust.

I have to agree on the latest Hahn experiences, mine is quiet and as said between 2000 and 2500rpm cruising, it is almost not there, the wife didn't even notice the exhaust was put on the car!!! At WOT though, she knew. I love my Hahn exhaust.
Nice write up on the exhaust, looking forward to hearing a clip outside.

We made my friend a custom 3" with an 18" res and kinda small muffler and that is so damn loud!

OP I wanna hear some videos of you doing pulls when you get the chance! First you will love your exhaust when your driving the car, But when you hear it in a video of you doing a pull from the outside you will really love it! Trust me, I just got a video of mine from the outside last week and have watched it a million times

Well, I will be taking a sound clip of it tonight idling and reving it a bit. I wont be doing any runs with it tonight, because the roads around here are filthy right now. Prob. in 2 weeks or so I will be bringing my car back out, and will record some pulls with it

I didn't get to take a new sound clip today, so I thought I would post the sound clip I took the night I installed the catback. It is inside my fathers shop, and the echo distorts the sound slightly. I will get some quality video's in the near future. Until then, enjoy this one

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OybLexgCkqg

I better add some more info for the people who think this might not sound great. This clip is my initial start up of the exhaust after I installed it. The exhaust is not even warmed up yet. Not to mention there is zero miles on it. You can take my word that this exhaust sounds amazing in person. There is ZERO rasp and no fart can sound.

there is no fart sound to it at all, trust me. it is very deep and throaty. as i mentioned in my post the echo in the shop distorts the sound. i researched every exhaust out there, i know which ones sound farty and which ones dont. this one does not. i'm glad you love your hahn. it was one of my choices.

Make a drive-by vid. Those are the best way to showcase the overall sound of a catback.

Well, the weather is finally nice here in good ol' Northeastern PA, and I decided to bring the car out. I only drove it from my fathers shop to my office, but noticed the nice tone the Corsa Touring produces. It is actually really quiet. Alot quieter than my old set up (production catback + GMPP Touring Muffler), which by no means was loud. It's so quiet that I can actually hear the supercharger winding up in the lower rpms again while granny shifting. The Corsa Touring is ultra quiet while cruising, but once it is opened up it lets out a deep/powerful tone. I love it. I didn't get on it much, because it was the first time I took the car out since I put the catback and downpipe on. I want to let them break in nicely. I will take some video clips of the exhaust this week, so stay tuned

Very nice. I wish there was a scientific way to test the difference in flow of the complete setup vs. the old one. I can't stand having a loud exhaust anymore lol.

yeah, that would be nice to know man. i really am surprised how quiet the Corsa Touring is. i would say it almost sounds stock while crusing, but lets out a growl when you step on the fun pedal. my car felt as if it pulled a little harder then it used to, but i also installed a downpipe this winter so it's prob a combination of the two.

Yep. I'd like to factor in exactly how man CFMs the car actually needs, vs the potential amount of my current setup. I'm sure theres room to downsize without losing anything, thus quieting things down.
