I had the Sport on my 06 SC. It sounded really deep without the in cockpit drone. If I nailed it, it would get LOUD. Everyone who heard it loved it. Never heard the Touring but I heard its a great sound too.
The one thing about the Sport I noticed is that the hotter it got, the better it sounded. It seems like it needs to warm up a bit. If judging it for sound, make sure the exhaust is warmed up first.

You sure it wasn't just the car warming up that made the exhaust not sound as good as it did after it was warm?
Warm up cycle sound bad on most all exhausts on th cobalts to me.

Warm up is key.... The Corsa will rasp when it is cold (but u shouldnt be hard on the car when it's cold anyways), but once warmed up, it sounds fantastic.
