I disabled the reverse lockout on mine for about 3 days before it pissed me off so bad I put it back.
GM is really the only company who uses a lockout for their 5sp trannies, and its retarded. I've driven so many other cars and never had to worry about that, It silly. If you accidently go into "6th" gear, you're stupid and should know what kind of car you are driving...

I'm not sure why you guys hate the fact GM put a reverse lock out in our balts. It's a safety feature put there to help us NOT screw up our tranny's. The way i see it GM was looking ahead, which is why i always go with their vehicles.

I have the TWM and I really like it but as someone mentioned. It feels notchy when driving normally. I miss my stock shifter, it had a great feel to it. The reason why I have my STS is because my reverse lockout broke and wouldn't let me change gears.

So your saying the one on this page is shortened: Street Tuning, BMW Performance Parts, HONDA Performance Parts, Auto Parts - COSMO Racing Online
and the actual product would look more like cam305 right?
I'm considering buying it, but its odd they would use a shifter that's not the correct height for the display picture on there web site.
