Exclamation A couple stage three questions

So I just finished the install of a stage three in my car...
I have a couple questions....
With the new condenser added to the car how much coolant does it take to fill it up?
How do you bleed air out of your coolant?
What should my ait temp be at I just had I'd started and it was holding about 184 coolant
And the ait tem was 158 are these decent numbers??

new condensor? the fill tank? it should all flow through and it'll be full when your tank is half full. you bleed air by keeping the cap off while the car is idling for a bit. i think 158 is ok but someone else can elaborate on that

The second coolant condenser...aftermarket zzp one...I filled it up with coolant through the radiator hose I unhooked it from the top of the motor and poured coolant in their...it didn't take half of a jug and the overflow tank is full.. I feel like it should take more than that

to be honest it seems a bit high to me. what cooling mods do you have? did you make sure to purge the system of air? (option B)

option B is a second coolant reservoir that is usually coupled with a dual pass intercooler plate. as i said, your IC pump is probably screwed up

Do you know where I can get one? And not having a second reservoir would screw up my pump?? Also the coolant was staying at a steady 180 to 190 degrees maybe it has air in it cuz if the pump went out wouldn't it totally overheat??

I strongly disagree with the idea of an option B, I have AIT temperatures huddle around 110-130 in 70 degree weather with zzp dual pass and the zzp heat exchanger. The key is to keep opening up your cap to let the air escape, refill with coolant, then tighten it, turn the KEY on (don't start the car), keep the pump working for roughly a minute, turn the pump off, open the cap again and repeat. This took care of all the bleeding I had to do. Also buy an Aeroforce interceptor gauge like me, it gives you steady readings of your IAT2's which will basically tell you if your pump fails. Its all worth it, and could save you money later on.

And if your pump fails like mine did, ZZP sells them for $100 on their site.

Did you confirm that your intercooler pump is working? And if your pump was not working then a cruise temperature of 156 sounds right. You definitely do not want to go WOT until you clear the air out of your system, as that is when your temperatures will skyrocket and do serious damage to your engine. To check if your pump is working, just turn the key farthest to the right without starting it, climb under your car, and put your hand on the pump. If it is working you will feel it vibrate and make a small humming sound. If its not, then you can temporarily fix it by gently hitting it with something like a hammer or wrench like Haul Ass said.

just keep pouring in coolant until it overflows!!! i don't think IAT's are supposed to exceed 140 after a hard pull

^Exactly, just fill up the coolant until it overflows, put the cap back on, and let the pump do its magic.

All that is useless though if your pump isn't working, so that has priority #1.

20+ posts and no one bothered to ask what size pulley?

Smmfh...

My .02;
Dead pump or improperly routed plumbing. Coolant has to flow to the pump inlet by gravity or it will never prime and circulate. These pumps don't "suck" just "push"
