cracked flex pipe, is this ingals td fault?
cracked flex pipe, is this ingals td fault?
title of the thread says it all, what I am really more concerned about is when I take my car into the dealer tomorrow to get the flex pipe fixed under warranty will they say that it is caused by my ingals and therefor not under warranty. the flex pipe is attached to the cat so I'm sure this will not be a cheap part.
well, in theory, since the td stops the engine from moving, it has nothing to do with the flex pipe breaking. if anything, it actually helps out some. but, the dealer will make up some crazy reason as to why it was the cause.
cliff notes: take it off, only takes a few minutes.
