cracked flex pipe, is this ingals td fault?

title of the thread says it all, what I am really more concerned about is when I take my car into the dealer tomorrow to get the flex pipe fixed under warranty will they say that it is caused by my ingals and therefor not under warranty. the flex pipe is attached to the cat so I'm sure this will not be a cheap part.

not at all... it's the shitty mounts fault for letting the motor move so much. But the dealer will blame it on the TD so take it off

well, in theory, since the td stops the engine from moving, it has nothing to do with the flex pipe breaking. if anything, it actually helps out some. but, the dealer will make up some crazy reason as to why it was the cause.

cliff notes: take it off, only takes a few minutes.

Jeff sorry to hear about it. Barrie told me the news today at the meet. Hopefully you can get her fixed up. Hope to see you out soon.
